I said as much a couple of pages ago :v
But it is indeed fun. No other class can hit-and-run as well as a Nomad can, provided the terrain works in their favor.

Enemies get slowed down in forests too. Unless they are fliers, in which case the Nomad has hopefully shot them down :v

True. However. Horses get slowed down more. 3 per tile, and only 7 movement total, versus 2 per tile, and five or six movement total.

Yeah, desert maps will make you into little better than a turret if you stay mounted. But on solid terrain, it's easy to hassle enemies while remaining safe.
