Atyr. This desolate land of a 'country' is held dear by few, home to harsh heat and never-ending deserts. Among its scarce inhabitants are desert nomads and drifters angered by the regimes and constant wars among the rest of the world. It's only saving grace for its independence is she sheer fact no other country would dare hold it.

Yet deep within the deadly heat and dried sands, a large conclave of wizened professors keep watch over a mystical city. The Ruins of At-Ilm, home to abyssal mazes, twisting corridors and magical secrets. Long ago, beyond written history, the collegiate of At-Ilm took residence in the massive ruins. For Centuries the nature of the collegiate has been shrouded in myth and mystery, its residents furtive and detached from the rest of the world. Only a select few from the outside know of anything beyond its mere existence, and for the longest time, the collegiate inside would perform its research in relative peace. Times would come, however, when some professors of the collegiate would overstep their bounds and attempt to wreak havoc in their quest for greater knowledge. Within the last month, some of the professors turn their eyes onto the abhorrent actions of a wayward colleague, toiling away deep within a sealed wing of the ruins.

As the days pass, near the Border of Atyr, a shady man crosses the dry lands. His sights aimed for the southeast border town of Caleda, rumors abound that he is looking for mercenary help in crossing the desert...

YET ANOTHER Fire Emblem on Forums style game, but this time done in the spirit of a Dungeon Crawl! This game will be focused around a single dungeon that the players traverse, host to all sorts of dark secrets, puzzles and devious traps! This is also my first GMing experience as well, feedback is welcome!

Create a sheet and post it on the OOC thread, I will look it over. If I Approve it, I'll post and roll two numbers to determine your affinity, you must select one affinity.

Who are the Players?
The players are various people from the various Outlier countries of Galsine. All of them have, for some reason or another, gathered in the town of Caleda at Atyr's southeast border, likely looking for mercenary work.
The Starting Party will have a couple restrictions:
-Eight Players will comprise the starting party, possibly more later
-Players will start at First Class, Level 1
-You have 4 stats to distribute, remember them!
-You start with a single E rated weapon based on your favored proficiency. For example, a character with a selected proficiency in Thrust has a choice of a Slim Sword or Iron Rapier.
-No more than One Performer
-NO Pegasus Units (Lore reasons, Sorry!)

Traps:
-There are many types of traps that take up singular spaces in the Labyrinth. Traps are triggered by moving over them, and if they are triggered, the person moving over them will stop their movement at that space.
---Physical Traps: Use physical weapons to make an attack on any who trip them.
---Magical Traps: Use magical weapons to make an attack on any who trip them.
---Aliment Traps: Attempt to inflict aliments on any who trip them.
---Special Traps: Can do many things. Fling players around, modify the map in unexpected ways, or a whole host of other nasty things. Be careful around these!
-Detection: Spies can detect traps in a 3 tile radius, where all other classes detect traps adjacent to them. A player may spend a turn to increase this detection radius by 3.
-Disarming: Thief Classes are able to make an attempt, based on LUK, at Disarming Physical Traps. Another, more difficult roll can be made to attempt at rearming the trap for yourself. Magical and Aliment types must either be triggered, or they can be disarmed by carriers of rare Keyrune items. Special types have their own conditions for disarmament. In addition, conditions may be present that allow certain traps to be revealed, remotely disabled, or re-purposed!
Map Conditions:
Similar to weather, in certain rooms there may be special map conditions that force certain restrictions or provide bonuses. These will be included in spoilers within turn posts. These may change during the chapter.
Bonus Objectives:
Certain rooms may have Bonus Objectives that may be completed for additional rewards. These will be included in the Map Conditions spoiler.
Rogue: Bag of Holding
-Instead, this ability doubles the Rogue's carrying capacity to 10 items.
Character Skills:
-Blossom: Is a flat +5% bonus to all progressions
-Reinforce and Corrosion: Banned
Death:
This game will go by the FEF1 rules for death. When reduced to 0 HP, the PC in question will be downed. While downed, a PC has 3 turns before they die.

Want to make a character whose backstory involves almost being burned at the stake for being a witch. So...yeah. Not sure which would be more suited. If I go Shaman, I'd probably go Druid, or if I choose to have her have multiple personalities, then it would be Summoner. ("See! I told you I wasn't insane!") Mage fits, but the promotions don't all that well(it would be Sage for sure though).

Bio: Born in a small farming village in Vasil, there was always something unique about Atrisse. She would have blackouts and gaps in her memory, and her friends would make references to events she didn't remember being part of. When she accidentally killed one of the cattle with a burst of some dark power, she broke down, crying and hiding from the mob that had come to burn her at the stake for witchcraft. Only once she'd been tied to the post and the flames set alight, did the Others make themselves fully known. They helped her escape, taking over her body so that they could use the knowledge they'd gathered during those blackouts to break free and flee. Since then, she has (mostly) come to terms with them, and become adept at letting them take her over for brief moments, as in combat, so that Juna could use her expertise in dark magic to blast away those who would strike them down. She's come to Caleda in hopes of finding out what might be the cause of her Others, and ways to help her set them free, if she can, into new bodies(for They, and to a degree herself, see integrating them into her own personality as little better than death).

Try Vasil, or Beldrian, or any number of the small minor countries that are embroiled in civil wars. There's bound to be a village somewhere that'll do just that.

Also if I find any of your bios a bit thin, I'll add a line in with your affinity roll that will describe how you got to Caleda, h'okay? :v

EDIT: Also, Varee! Spies get proficiency in Swords AND Bows, and have a selection of both a sword and bow subcategory. Unfortunately these extra subcategories are also at Proficiency D. Pick a Sword subcategory and give your char D proficiency in it, along with your bow Subcat.

Hey, at least BMM's char has 40% in resistance.
But yeah, we really need a actual magic tank right now, so for those who're gonna make a sheet, at least have your char/s have high growths in resistance.
