Yay roomcarnage post :D

I'm sad to hear about your computer woes.  My only advice at th is time is to make lots of backups of your saved game :O

I've been thinking about this - the real problem isn't the titan, or the fact that he's also a zombie... but rather that the *titan became a zombie so fast*.  This foul zombie contaminant could affect merchants, migrants and even Roomcarnage military.  If this contaminant can't be removed, connection with the outside world will be next to impossible :(   (unless it's only located in one area of the map).

I think that, while this is impossible in DF per say, the "dwarven way out" would be to start digging a *loooong* tunnel out of there, with satellite forts along the way.  It could take dozens of years, but eventually the dwarves would be able to reach a more beneficial biome.

However, maybe this cursed land is the only safe haven the dwarves have from their enemies?  :/

I guess once they have a reliable access to surface it's possible to pave whole location with floors. Hopefully it'll destroy the dust.

DS is obviously a genuis at this game. He'll be able to deal with this contaminant in time, by paving over it, flooding it with magma, or just collapsing shit over it. It will come, in due time. Just let the tale follow it's course.

Chapter 40 has been posted!

Yes indeed, the foul fog is a potent danger. It'll have to be handled somehow.

Yay! The chronicles of RoomCarnage has reached it's 40th chapter! This should be made into a book sometime.

He'd just split it into 120 movies.

Good news, everyone!

My original laptop - the one upon which I recorded Weatherwires, and the first part of Roomcarnage, which was torn apart by the pressure of its own screen's hinges around chapter ten - has been resurrected! It lives again, and I am able to continue the story unhindered.

I suppose it's appropriate, playing a fortress such as this upon a laptop that has been beyond the veil for about six months. I'm once again able to use stonesense and overseer, so expect more screenshots from those programs in the future.

As always, thanks for reading!

It's definitely still there. And there's some other spooky stuff going on, although I have a reasonable explanation.
