Also, I had an idea for two new statuses. Not sure if it's a good idea, just wanted to throw it out there:
guardian: If the guardian picks the highest picked item, all players who picked that item are spared from elimination and become a champion and a guardian. If they pick any other item, they become a zombie and a guardian.

Champion: if a champion picks the highest picked item, they are spared from elimination and become a champion.

These roles take advantage of the current "if you gain a status you have, you lose that status" rule. They're probably completely unbalanced, I just wanted to submit them for critique and possible consideration.

Translated into 'official lingo':

Guardian: If a Guardian picked a majority Item, all players who picked that Item are saved from elimination and gain Guardian and Champion. If a Guardian did not pick a majority Item, that player gains Guardian and Zombie.

Champion: If a Champion picked a majority Item, they are saved from elimination and gain Champion.

I like the idea of a Status that can protect oneself and others from elimination. I can see two problems, one being over-complexity, and the other is a situation where if everyone picks the same Item over and over, no one will ever be eliminated.

This situation can arise whenever there's a Guardian in play:

To avoid this, I think Guardians should not be able to give rise to more Guardians. Also, take out Champions to keep things simple - they are too similar to Lunatics.

Oh shit I meant only the guardian gained guardian and champion. Whoops.

The only reason I had champion was to give people a reason to become a guardian. They got the possibility of becoming immune to one death by most picked item if they chose correctly.

Ah i c, Champion makes more sense now. I've had another Status in mind which is a lot like Champion:

Immortal - When an Immortal is eliminated, s/he is instead saved from elimination for the round and gains Immortal.

Yeah, my original idea was just the guardian one, but then I realized"why in all flavor of damnation would someone pick an item that would give them guardian? It's basically a path to destruction if the choose wrong".
