The War of Night

Years ago, a massive army spilled out from the north. They swiftly conquered vast swathes of land. This army was a wicked one, filled with goblins and orcs and bandits. The goodly nations banded together, but many fell before the onslaught. Those who remained were able to build a series of mighty walls, but many lands were still to be fought over. You command a small army consiting of...


Refugees, fleeing the destruction of your homeland
Soldiers from behind the wall, eager to push back the darkness
Warriors from the fought over areas, praying to hold the line
Partisans fighting the wicked from within,
Or mercenaries from a foreign land, fighting for gold and glory.

The way the game works is based off a combonation of d20 and d100s. The d100s are for background rolls, while d20s are for diplomacy, attacks, and skills in general.

For army building you are given a number(i.e. 200 dwarven warriors and 100 dwarven archers), whom you can divide up however you please.
