I dont think that two turn tech are bad, there are just a way for the guy that dint post much to say"well time will advance a few quarter until i post again so i guess this tech suppose to be finish be then right?" And there a valid reason be hind that too. I think the weird time system is confusing some people so they are doing weird thing but i hope it well clear itself soon enough...

It's not that weird. You post, time advances by three months. Someone else posts, time advances by three months. This way it doesn't take mind-bogglingly huge amounts of time for half-way decent amounts of time in the game to pass.

As it is, we'll be at future technology within like 30 years of in-game time, which is fucking ridiculous.

So make them 0/1 techs. Make multiple techs at once. It's motivation to post, rather than just doing nothing and the thread dying because no one can think of anything to write about as their techs aren't being completed.

Have your people do something. Explore. Have inter-feudal wars and power struggles. You have more to post in an RPG than just your character's actions.

Currently, in order to make a tech system work, there have to be 3 posts between every post of a similar player. Switching to an all post instead of a player posts dependent system will allow us to scrap that restriction.

Why not just make a turn list?

If there a turn list then it will be an 18 month turn for every one. But it aldo mean if someone is missing or awol we cant con ti nue the game, still if noone ob ject and posting in and hour or two also why dont you guys post in the ic thread?

Whoops sorry for vanishing for a few days, some schoolwork and my internet went down for a day.


Yeah new rule: the universal time must be posted too. If we do make an official turn rule then it'd have the note that if no one posts for 24 hours anyone can post as long as it wasn't the last person who posted. I made a poll for the turns.
