"This case seems really important. Gumshoe was on the trail of the White Plateau crime syndicate, and the police have taken his murder to mean that his murderer is their key to catching them once and for all. They've even put the very best prosecutor on the case."

"Who, what, when, where, and why do they say it was this guy?"

Felix curses, looking over the documents. "This... This is hard to take in all at once... Gumshoe was a good man..." He sighs, then looks to FITR. Something in the Arrest report had gotten his attention. "Did you happen to find anything at the scene? And what were you doing there so late?"

"Who, what, when, where, and why do they say it was this guy?"

"Records."

"I'd been having a meeting with one of the judges that night. I was on my way out when I heard some weird noises from one of the courtrooms, so I walked in to look around. Just as I saw a guy with his brains blown out, a cop came in and arrested me."
"And I didn't find anything there but the body."

"Which judge? This might help our case..."

"And what was the meeting about?"

"I was with the one judge with the playoff beard and Canadian accent. As the head of the Conerian peacekeeping force, we were discussing the possibility that we could send some of our men over here to work with the police; the judge was acting as a proxy between us, since the police are... on edge at the moment."

"Needless to say, a different judge is overseeing the case."
