Another tic on the "Things that Akura missed" tally that doesn't exist but I could make.

...

...Aaaaand we have our self-insertion character! Hiya, Suzerain!

Also, is "You ugly!" going to be the "swag" of Aroma, or are they just reusing assets again like some of the other interchangable trainers back in Vesryn?

Are you now understanding why I hate the Aroma region?

Yeah... Megasteelix, the one in this game at least, is a good pokemon...

But... it is definitely one that requires a specific strategy.

For example you can stack stealth rock and Foundary stealth rock

Looks like there is a sequel you could go into after this one.

Key differences you'll notice immediately are lack of meme-speak and use of the 4th-gen tileset.

Would have updated yesterday, but it started to rain harder and the wifi hotspot was outside. Will update either today or tomorrow.

Honestly, that didn't look all that appealing.

First time I've ever heard 'it was raining' as an excuse for not updating a gaming LP.  :P

I've nearly fried my netbook using it in the rain before. In fact, I probably still have to take the screen off and clean it.

The Meowstic image shown in your dex is a male Meowstic. It's probably a game glitch that it claims yours is what both males and females look like.

You mentioned your Evee didn't get any interesting moves from being de-shadowed. Is that true for the others you've de-shadowed as well?

Also, what the poopsmith is going on with that Shadow Wailmer? Pointy fangs? Really?

I think I'd side with Magma as well, if only because I think Greevil is more likely to have a balanced team, and therefore be a more interesting opponent.

Duplicate the save and alternate between the two, one existing in a negative universe.

Duplication would be ideal... but also time-consuming. And confusing, since we'd be switching back and forth between increasingly-divergent teams.

I'd vote to go Magma, because Lawful Stupid is still preferable to Neutral Evil. And besides, the sooner we fight Shadow Groudon's owners, the sooner we'll fight the shadowy legendary itself and get a chance to burn our entire supply of Ultra Balls.  :D

I think I'd side with Magma as well, if only because I think Greevil is more likely to have a balanced team, and therefore be a more interesting opponent.

I forgot :-[. I think they learn their birth moves upon being cured, since Eevee did learn either Tackle or Tail Whip and Sand-Attack(goddamn it, I might have to re-read it again) as well as already having something else. Porygon learned a few things, and also had Magnet Rise. I don't remember Mawile learning anything at all, and she had a few useless moves like Growl and Tail Whip(she has a tail?) plus Crunch. I guess it doesn't announce moves it had from levels up to that point.

If you look closely, all the Shadow Pokčmon have a slightly different sprite. It's noticable in the scene I did for Mawile, her arm is lowered, and only one eye is visible.

Magma has mostly been using Fire and Water, Cipher has mostly been using Dark and Ghost. My team can fight Fire and Dark, but might stuggle a bit with Water and Ghost, so either one could be a decent fight, though I might assume fighting Greevil with be a 2-on-1 with Maxie.

Duplication would be ideal... but also time-consuming. And confusing, since we'd be switching back and forth between increasingly-divergent teams.
Yeah, I'd rather not carry on with what is essentially two games at once.

In a hole in the ground there lived a dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dwarf fortress, and that means magma.
