Fun fact: The reason Excadrill was faster than Ampharos is because Ampharos is slow as shit.
Hmm, I never had speed problems with my Ampharos when I still had Silver on my Gameboy(when I still had a Gameboy, I think I have the Silver cartridge somewhere along with two Yellows). I always thought that Electric-types where generally faster.

Generally, yes, and also somewhat frail, but occasionally we get exceptions. Ampharos is surprisingly slow, but quite a bit bulkier than most electric types.

Plus it being so slow is actually a huge advantage for it.

Well with the right build.

Also Wilson was the elite four member who gave me actual trouble the 2nd tiem around.

I always thought that Electric-types where generally faster.
Raichu, Electrode and Jolteon are probably responsible for that particular stereotype.

To be fair, Electric-types have an average speed of 81.27, compared to the overall average of 66. Similarly, fully-evolved Electrics have an average speed of 90.85, compared to 78 for all types. So Electrics are faster than average, overall.

I wonder if you'll wind up getting Arceus before the showdown...

I oddly enough ALMOST achieved that birdy51... Except that stupid little creep that ruined my winning streak! (or did I?)

It helps though that my team was VERY well equipped for killing dragons.

They had to do a Morgan Freeman joke, didn't they? Is his team Ice because of March of the Penguins?

Trust me... I am just waiting for the point where the game just becomes a huge pile of references...

Well... again... Since the start of the game was a LOT of pokemon references... but in this case nothing but outside references.

In a hole in the ground there lived a dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dwarf fortress, and that means magma.
