Apparently the SCP Foundation is a fictional thing created as a mass creative writing project. The universe it's in seems pretty well developed and it's all community-created. SCP-682 is described as: "a large, vaguely reptile-like creature of unknown origin. It appears to be extremely intelligent, and was observed to engage in complex communication with SCP-079 during their limited time of exposure. SCP-682 appears to have a hatred of all life, which has been expressed in several interviews during containment." The method of containment is putting it in a small room and filling the room with hydrochloric acid which doesn't kill it, but keeps it under control.

Who knows how much of that is carried over (my guess is not a lot), but I haven't played enough of Zeta/Omicron to know if any of that's actually applicable to the synthetic pokemon in question.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Would I be amiss if I gave out some evolution spoilers?
Evolution spoilers are fine, I'm more concerned with story and encounter spoilers. Yes, you were right about me being wrong about the Reaper Cloth, although the fact that it evolves Dusklops makes it pretty useless since Dusknoir can be found in Midnight Mansion. I just missed it on that run-through. And I am aware of how Helioptile evolves long before this, as well. I'll very likely evolve her before I tackle the Elite Four, I'll just have to do some re-drawing in the process.

A link to SCP-682's page might be more informative.

I'm not sure on how much a crossover it is, either, since Wilson's favorite is described as a fusion of Zekrom and Darkrai, which according to Bulbapedia is Black Zekrom. Fun. Black Zekrom looks nothing like SCP-682, and doesn't seem to have any regeneration moves. It be more of the "destroy everything it sees" part.

Interestingly, the Cresselia I caught is related to Darkrai, whom I thought was the goal of Midnight Mansion.

Huh. I thought I'd put in a few links to that post, but I guess I didn't. Thanks!

And yup, Cresselia/Darkrai are version-linked I think, both in the original games and in Omicron/Zeta.

Ah, I think that's Black Kyurem you're thinking of. There's no Darkrai involved in that one. Regular Kyurem can be fused with Zekrom or Reshiram to create Black Kyurem or White Kyurem, who, as a fusion of two legendaries, gets some pretty powerful stats. The process is reversible, in that case.

I'd not put it past the game to have done something crazy. I mean, Delta Pokemon are a thing in here, and I remember looking at some of the Reddit pages and seeing that they were adding their own Mega Evolutions and an altered Meloette from a romhack they particularly liked.

Maybe Wilson will show up with a Babos. Anything's fair game at this point.  8)

They also added in their own moves. The OHKOs that each of the E4s favorites have were added in.

I would have had the update up today, but I worked late.

Next is Gluttony, with Snorlax, Simisage, Simisear, and Simipour. Not sure how the last three fit in with Gluttony.

It's literally their normal ability.

Also, for more of the 'They scrambled the timeline!' theory, the Missingno. quest puts the timeline firmly between RBGY and GSC, since the volcano erupting and destroying Cinnabar was an event between the two. And uh, the Police Quests pulled directly from the first Pokemon movie, which presumably occurred when Ash was a ten-year-old, and not a washed-up divorcee Olympus grunt.

...

Although you've replaced Ash there now, which means you've probably destroyed the timeline further. Maybe it's not Zeus and the Time Caller responsible for this! Maybe it's the Police Club sending you through time tunnels en route to your destination to scramble history! The plot thickens...

Trust me the whole "continuity" thing goes out the window later...

We are still at the part of the game I still like...

Spoiler: Current Team (click to show/hide)

I have to figure out who I'm going to bring to the Elite Four. It would be ideal if I could get a decent Fairy-type, but none of the retconned Fairy-types are in as their apporpriate type(although I'd have to double-check Clefairy to be sure). The only Fairy-type I have is Klefki, which might actually be a very good choice after all, since it'd get a double resistance to Tobias' Dark-types, plus immunity to Wilson's Dragon-types.

Next is Gluttony, with Snorlax, Simisage, Simisear, and Simipour. Not sure how the last three fit in with Gluttony.

Ash was at least eleven by the first movie, since the series starts on his tenth birthday(or shortly thereafter), and if I recall, the episode he got the badge from Viridian City, which was exactly one year later, Giovanni leaves the Viridian Gym to Jesse and James because he got a very bad phone call, presumably about Mewtwo destroying the lab he was created in.
I haven't seen the first movie, though I did read the novelization of it.

I didn't think about the Gluttony ability. The Zigzagoon I caught has the same ability.

Still trying to figure out who's fighting the Elite Four. My goal is to get three type-effective Pokémon against each one, but I doubt that's possible. For Tobias, I suppose I could use Lucario and Klefki, but who else? Excadrill? I've got Excadrill, possibly Garchomp and maybe Victreebel for Corlett. Victreebel and Heliolisk for Morgan. And for Wilson, Klefki and Garchomp? Klefki for sure(immune to Dragon), but Garchomp has as much of an advantage as disadvantage(Dragon against Dragon).

Having a much easier time then I did where everyone was 5 levels above me at that point... Wow was the EXP fix necessary.

As well welcome to the start of the dumb... but you are still going to be spared it for a tiny bit.

A Dark/Dragon? If it had three heads, I could make a joke, but I don't think many people would get the reference.

Just wait until it evolves, then make it.

What's that sticking out in front?

A beard made of frozen bear snot. I only wish I was making this up. Its preevolution, Cubchoo, makes it more explicit by having a giant dangling snot glob hanging from its nose.

I'm still not sure where the hell that Jirachi came from. It's version-locked, I suppose? I haven't tried Zeta yet.

I'm not sure if its locked, or just like the Lugia/Ho-oh fights in Gold and Silver, where one of the two was main-quest, and the other relegated to postgame content. Jirachi is the one Zeta gets instead of Victini, though, I'm pretty sure.

Also, I will say, getting massacred by Machamp isn't really a strike against your Helioptile. Machamp is supposed to hit like a mack truck. (Probably was a good idea to evolve her anyway, though.)

Beartic looks so bad because it was one of the X/Y pokemon... So they had to create original sprites for them.

Unless he is from Black and White and I just don't remember (Black and White kind of being ugly in general)
