Mami looks down dejectedly, "There's Madoka, but...." Mami's face turns a bright red and she seems to embarrassed to say anything more. Kyle and Hikari could tell that this Madoka girl thinks of Mami more than a friend would with the way Mami is blushing.

"I'm your friend."

Mami silently nods.

"And Hikari is as well. And I'm sure everyone else would be your friends too."
Kyle smiles at Mami.

Mami nods again. Just looking at her is depressing. Someone needs to take her to a party or something. ((This is que for someone to claim a side plot. Can be anything as long as it's cannon.))

Kyle hugs her for a moment.
"Hey, why don't we do that now?"

They do so. Mami follows behind Kyle.

Kyle kyle leads her to the cafe first. He attempts to make cheery conversation.

It doesn't help. Mami still looks slightly depressed.

Kyle texts everyone (they obviously exchanged numbers at an earlier point) that he has a friend he wants them to meet. He pulls out his gem watch and looks at it for a few moments before he turns to Mami.
"Hey, want to try something?"
