((Beryl, like me, has a weird fear of being around windows at night. I hate the feeling of not being able to see something out there that might be looking in a me. It is weird, but I thought it might be an interesting trait for Beryl to share with me.))

Beryl uncomfortably shifts his weight from foot to foot and then steps back and leans on the door frame where he can't see the window. He's decides to listen to the conversations for bit before entering the room.

The girl cries silently for a few minutes, before a knock sounds at her door.

"H-hey, Daoto-chan....is everything alright in there?"

Her roommate. Thank god it wasn't anyone else, at least...but why did it have to be anyone, anyone at all? Oh god...

"I-I'm fine, Kitsuke-ch-chan...j-just a bad d-dream is all..."

"...is it the nerve-support thing again? I know you never found out what it was really about..."

"I'm fine, Kitsuke! R-really...can I just be alone for now, p-please?"

"If that's what you want, Daoto-chan, then sure...if you need me, I'll be with Sadoku-san and the others, okay?

Daoto just nodded, before realizing that Kitsuke couldn't see her face. "Okay...and...thank you, Kitsuke-chan..."

There was no response, so Daoto guessed she must have left. Now she just had to deal with the voices in her head.

<Okay, fine. Say all this stuff is real. What does it mean? Why me?>
