Walk through door, say the Word.
Walk through the door.
Oh well, it's not like I'll stumble on anything particularly useful by the first turn. Or something lethal that kills me.

Matthias surveyed his surrounding with curiosity. One thing was imminent: He is alive. Not wanting to dwell too much about the circumstances that led to this revival of some sort until he gets more clue, he decides to step outside while thumbing through the book as he murmured a "spell" just to see what would happen.

Walk through the door while casting the spell
((What on earth is Perplexicon anyway?))

Go through the door.

You go through the door into a well lit room of the same stone, beams of light filter in through high windows. Along the two walls to your sides are eight statues, each depicting a different figure.
At the end of the room is an arch-way which seems to lead outside.

Irony Owl: Score 5 DC 3: An image of an ethereal table erupts from the ground, like a volcano that erupts with tables rather than good ol' fashioned magma.
Objective(Mattias): Score 2 DC 1: A large pile of coal piles up in front of you forming a mound reaching eye-level.

Quote
Examine surroundings.

Sit down, take a look around, say some words.

You are in a circular room there is a open doorway with light streaming through
and on the floor is an intricate arcane circle glowing soft pink. The walls are
smooth stone with near seamless joins.

NAV: Score 4 DC 1: You summon an intricate image of a scythe, it's like 3D television only everything is purple.

Go through the archway, say the words Ceroc Lorel, commit 4 from my pool.

((Forgive me if I don't understand magic system,so the more words I say the more powerful the spell's gonna be,but the more it will cost, and I can commit more from my pool to make it have a bigger chance succeeding?))

"Well, that's just as useful as I would expect." Matthias examined the statue, not particularly expecting anything special, but you never know. He continue to read through a random word in the hope that he can come upon something that can be combined with that coal spell thing.

Examine what the statues are depicting, and cast another spell

Time to try to achieve some pointless vandalism.

Walk to the archway while saying Words at random statue.

So how does potency regeneration work?  Do you have the full pool to work with every turn, just splitting it between separate spells?  Does it regen in increments each turn?
It regenerates completely each turn but that means casting an offensive spell may limit defensive capacity for example

((Seeing as the original Perplexicon ended due to the managerial nightmare and I'd rather see another open-world one go for quite a while, here's a google doc. I'll need @Corsair's gmail address though so that the GM can actually edit it.))
