"I dunno. Answers, I guess. Why am I here? Are you a deity? Any chance you'd be looking for mortal followers? What boons would you grant your followers?"

Ask questions to Myrkviren.

Read the forms. Tell the guy what happened.

"Everything? Alright.

I woke up in this round room with some other people and a book of words. Said a few words, created this cool scythe, got my feet soaked in beer. Then I left the room into this hall full of statues and said some more words and accidentally made this lump of wax that flew around and broke my ribs and killed someone I'm so sorry for that then I went outside and walked through a forest and ran away from bandits and said a word that hurt me pretty bad so I came here to find a doctor. that's all."

Yeah Sertsul is DC 2 Itiw is DC 8 so that is a total of DC 10
You rolled 8 thus the low cost word Sertsul is dropped leaving Itiw which is cast

Go to wherever the Raven told me to, speak with the person the Raven told me to speak with.

You fly towards the city following a flock of birds that are oddly silent. They enter through a hole in the shield... that thought seems off to you somehow. You talk to the dude, he looks like someone out of a noir film, fedora, vest, trenchcoat, whole shebang.
"Ah you must be new," he hands you a silver sword with red egg like stones embedded in the pommel, kinda like frog eggs and a black orb "the orb will guide and if you need an instruction manual for the sword you shouldn't be holding it".

And so, magic fails another.
Go to the warior god (armored guy) statue and greet him.

"Who speaks?"

"I dunno. Answers, I guess. Why am I here? Are you a deity? Any chance you'd be looking for mortal followers? What boons would you grant your followers?"

Ask questions to Myrkviren.
"Mortals always so concerned with questions... More importantly than what boons would I give is the question of if you would follow without boons, simply maintaining the world out of good will."

"Hmm..." He makes some notes on his pad. "I think that we can work something out... we recently had a temporary position open up..."
He reaches behind himself and produces an image drawn on paper very hastily, the edges are stained with dark liquid and appear to be slightly burned.

"We retrieved this from a mining site in the south hills" he pushes the image forwards and you see that it is an image of a extremely smooth humanoid shape which seems to lack a head and has multiple tenticular limbs rather than arms or legs.
"We need some intelligence on this just take this" he pushes forward a gem in a brass frame with a lense in-front of it "point it at the creature and we will handle the rest" he says

The forms are standard bureaucratic stuff extremely dry and specific although there do appear to be three different classes of mage: alpha, beta and gamma.

Get out of the forest, say words at the ground.

You go towards the city which appears to be contained behind a cylindrical wall of ice blue metal, you say words

"So you maintain balance in the world? The whole 'there cain't be breakin' without makin' and vice-versa'? That sounds like somethin' I could fight for, boons or not. An imbalance destroyin' the whole world would be terrible, especially since I just got here and haven't gotten to see much of it. And I haven't found anythin' to make moonshine out of."

Respond to Myrkviren.

((I decided my character should sound redneck-ish.))

"It's kinda cute. Sure, I'll go investigate. Mind giving me a map?"

Sign the forms, take the shiny gem thing and the picture, ask for a map.
