Nooooooooo!

I should probably go look up what muramasa complex does.

Believe it was a whip, not a sword, and the endless hungerings for mortal flesh were perfectly temporary.

You used the sword word for it, thoug it was crafted out of a tongue, so probably was fairly flexible. And your rampage was temporary becouse you died.
Eh? Out of curiosity, how do you know what word I used?

And I can't swear to it, but I believe I continued to make Will saves after going on a rampage. My impression was that I had to make Will checks to avoid going berserk in a given round, not that I had to make Will saves until I failed at which point I was permahungry. The brevity of that condition might indeed make it hard to tell, though.

Quote from: Perpublicon - Element - Complex - Fictitious - Muramasa
This is much like bushido, but more exaggerated and with something off about them, something singularly unsettling. Like the fabled Muramasa blades of japanese legend, things made with this element, especially cutting weapons, carry a particular bloodlust and madness with them. Swords made with it will be significantly sharper then normal and even armor may sport dangerous edges.

Objects made with it might appear the same as bushido but with a marked demonic or evil appearance or twist. Animals will be violent and dangerous as well. Blades made with this substance should give a bonus to the roll determining damage and, if they go too long without spilling blood, should attempt to drive the weilder to injure or kill themselves.
Complex elements like Muramasa represent an idea rather than a discrete element. I suppose when you cast that spell with it, you dropped a word and got pure Muramasa. Judging by what happened, if you rolled too low for Willpower, you would have either died or been consumed by bloodlust.

Actually, a while back, I cut down the spellbook into a word list for PW, during that, I gave every word an identifier code. By the looks of it, this game uses those same codes. Effectively, that means you can get a fair idea of what type of effect a word does (be it elemental conjuration or attack) and it's cost just by it's code...))

I gues that it was the sword word, becouse sword was a word people knew at the time, and nobody had ever made a whip in the game. There were bone whip arms but those were made via bone control staff. And you did roll will until you failed, after wich you basicly went NPC it was toaster who got to roll after neing mind controled by Null.

It was never a promise. It was a dirty lie, and you all knew that. You should all know by now that you can't trust a word I say.

Didn't believe I needed to honestly, it was a bluff, considering that you are the only person here who managed to remember the list to that degree to spot my bluff.

Yeah, was probably me experimenting with what turned out to be the whip word. I remember it being awfully long for a sword.

The other part's just not true. I managed to kill one of my gankers with a spell prior to dying, which was obviously after I had failed at least one Will roll. Other than the that-turn compulsion to seek out things to murder, I never lost control of what I was doing.

Actually, a while back, I cut down the spellbook into a word list for PW, during that, I gave every word an identifier code. By the looks of it, this game uses those same codes. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that meddling creator of the system.

What I was thinking about the looter's delight would be, whne you kill someone you get an item, and you have the words to kill people with.

How much copper? If it is big enough to sit on, then sit on it. If it is small enough to pocket, pocket it. Otherwise drum on it.

And say words.

You sit upon the burnished lump of copper - a small shining red island amid a small sea of beer reaching serveral feet in all directions,
and then you begin your drumming.

the sky with shining spires, and the forest continues for at least 2 km beyond what you initially saw. Around the slight valley the forest lies in are large plains
filled with waving grass and dotted with buildings occassionally. The temple soon falls from view as you round a corner and see a ledge littered with corpses some still armed
and with enough armour for about three people from the dozen armoured corpses. The armour looks like a mixture of plate armour styles made of a . It is obvious that they were thrown from a higher point as you see some helms, shields and swords

Antur and Starn stumble slightly at the sudden smell and the great gusting wind that has suddenly spring up. They see a shadow fall across them as a large dragon comprised of a mixture of flesh and plant life hangs in the air kept aloft by the massive leaf like pinions it hangs upon. It's body is sinuous and its front legs are smaller than the hind ones which are heavily muscled. It is bright green and has a leafy crest running across its back the claws, teeth and horns of the beast appear to be a combination of wood and bone. The creature bellows a battle cry and readies itself for dinner.

Antur and BlazingGlory post reaction turns which will be dealt with separate from the normal turn structure

Get drunk.

You just made my day, seriously, you are the greatest person on earth right now.

You begin to lap up the booze off of the floor it is extremely good aside from the dust and dirt on the bottom, you are quickly drunk

[Roll: 100] EVEN BETTER

It directed you to hunt down and kill the bandits that infest the forest then report to the silver blade master in the city beyond.

((Did I learn the word for blood? Interesting....))

Grab a sword and shield, say the words, fill them with my entire pool, direct them at the Dragon.

((With a little luck I can become some sort of bloodmage.))
