I... tend to not flesh out combat since it's not one of my main focuses. Roleplaying I'm all for, I just have bad experiences doing fights for the Plots/things I do.

I just mean roleplaying out the combat, is all. Making it more than mere number-crunching, so it's interesting, and all.

I actually tend to prefer pre-form combat for that reason. Usually with a predetermined outcome meant to advance the story in some way. 'balance' is not always the same as 'a good story'.

Because we can heal those? In theory, Mami's decapitation could be healed from if her soul gem hadn't been eaten.....and pretty much every injury that doesn't destroy your soul gem can't kill you.

As long as your Soul Limit holds out, you get heals, as far as I know....
