Both. It's meant to be a grimdark yet dramatic death, IF you die. IF you don't die then you get to narrate your becoming a witch before I list the witch as a boss enemy and have you make a new character.

How exactly do we become a witch? Is there like a limit that gets passed for it to happen?

You need to have 0 SL and have at least a emotional trigger or have an event trigger the transformation.

Also, When a character hits 0 SL, They cannot transform int a magical form anymore and only a Grief seed can cure it. This is OOC info so no meta is allowed unless it's brought up IC.

Most of the time I just don't really have a way to respond that works well and wait for someone to do something else so I can react well.

In this case, it's because I like to keep the perception of everything happening fast, and going through the sequence I kindof have planned out for her right now would be ill-effective because she couldn't transform when there was someone there to replace, which is how it's meant to end.

You do not have control of the witch your character becomes. You do get to determine her name, form, and witch abilities.
