I just realized the points I put into Trackin' pretty much went to waste as I'm pretty sure any monsters we encounter on the coast will much rather flee into the water. Of course, if I Ace the roll multiple times, maybe I could do the reality-defying stunt of tracking someone in the water?

Well you're not confined to being out in the Maze, you can hand inland if you guys want to.

I'm a fantastic boat driver, but I've only got swimmin 2 so if we somehow capsize we're goners. Though I think in that case it wouldn't matter because the water would be full of monsters anyways.

Swimming 1 should be enough to handle most swimming situations (the real key is avoiding that untrained -8 penalty) since it means you don't even have to make checks a lot of the time. Swimming 2 is actually decent so long as the water isn't super-rough, should let you successfully beat basic checks pretty reliably (TN 5) with a decent couples physical stat.

Mind you, you won't be pulling any awesome stunts in the water, or surviving rapids or stormy seas, but hey, what's the chance of any of *that* happening? :V

Hmm. Thinking about it I am rather lacking in utility skills.

Just because you dont have skills doesnt mean you can try to do sttuff!

And frankly I am in the similar but opposite boat of being utterly *useless* during combat, so... Heh.

We could of course, head in the opposite direction. The maze is both more dangerous and has less intresting things than the rest of the West.

From my limited lore knowledge i feel maze is alot more interesting than going inland unless you guys get a pickup truck or something, also it look like a place where you can find more odd jobs as it is quite a way away to get to the nearest "town". Unless my geology is pretty bad......

Kagan Ducklin
Just so you know, it is 'Kagus'. It's completely my fault because I spelled it that way in my action for that turn. Sorry.

What to do, what to do... outside of adventuring I'm rather at a lost end. Could scavenge again, I guess.

Yeah I'm not completely sure what to do next. Were we supposed to go back to the bar to sleep?

How much money do I have, surely I've enough to buy a fishin' pole?

You can get one for free, I just did that line because you never asked for one and I found it amusing. You guys aren't supposed to do anything at the moment, right now you're looking for a job or supposed to decide what you guys want to do, and I have several adventures available which I've given you the beginning hooks to so far. All in all its just a matter of you guys deciding what you want to do :v
