It has been war for quite some time.
For such a long time, in fact, that nobody quite remembers what they're fighting for anymore. Sure, we all know how it started, and it seemed like a good idea at the time - but when you lack tobacco and just lost your second buddy to gangrene, these reasons seem... Distant. Silly. Insane, really.
But we can't stop now - they
are the enemy, after all! And we have suffered too much to accept a stalemate; anything but a victory would dishonor our fallen, invalidate their sacrifice.
