The leader of the enemy force moves forward and swings his axe at the door, causing small pieces to splinter off and fly into the fort. Three of the enemy archers move forward and start shooting the door as well.

Unfortunate that it came to this... Gandus hefted his lance and shield, and began marching toward the entrance. "We'll just have to hope that they can hold until we get there."

The leader once again swings his axe at the door, tearing it into pieces. As he does this, the archers around him open fire at the archer standing by the doorway, two out of the three shots hitting their mark.

Afterwards, one of the axemen charges in and swings his axe at the archer, spilling blood across the floor.

Another axeman charges in and strikes at the knight, who retaliates by sticking his lance in the axeman's gut for a moment.

Hit roll: 58

The rest of the enemy force hastens to take the positions previously occupied by their allies.

The soldiers move in and surround the axeman, stabbing him a couple of times and killing him. The rest of the soldiers move in to support.
