Inside the chest is a shining red gem - not as rare as oter types, though it still has a decent price at most markets.
Kindra loots Red Gem!

Vito's sword strikes deeply into the longbowman, causing a severe wound, while Pelageya finishes off the axeman.

Amelia stood by the Knight next to her and angled her spear for another strike, weary of any incoming projectiles. She wished she had chest-plating like that knight...which could double as a shield.

That would be very convenient.

Apply Spear > Longbowman B.

I need a sharper spear...or something that can bypass their armor.

Alastair was quick to notice Vito's plight, and was quick to also drag him out of there.

  "Hey, get a hold of yourself!"

Alastair moves 2 down, rescues Vito, and then moves 2 up.
