Oh hey it's this thing again.
You sound like a mad scientist when you're yelling like that, hehe.

EDIT: I can act as pretty much anyone who is young and has an extremely monotonous voice.

I'm not sure what archetype I might fill, but I made a recording of me reading Lovecraft's Memory. I stumbled over a few words, but overall I think I did fairly well. Excuse the background noise; I only have a crappy built in laptop mic.
You sound like a less enthusiastic Vincent Price with shit recording quality.

Holy shit he actually does!

I'd ask you to read your po-ta-to! dream to us, but that may be too long :P
Have at it. Not happy that I stumbled a bit here and there, but not bad for one take, unedited. I guess.

I definitely see the lack of enthusiasm; it was about my tenth time recording it, and I don't particularly like Memory to begin with. As for the recording quality, there's not really much I can do. My laptop mic is the only one I have, and I don't really have the money or time to go out and get a decent one.

On an unrelated note, I was bored and decided to try a reading of The Tell-tale Heart. I fired up Vocaroo, did what I thought was a good performance, tabbed back over...And noticed I forgot to hit record.

Heyo, not sure if I've ever uploaded my voice to Bay12 but here it is singing some songs from The Sacred Harp that I learned during a shapenote class last winter. I unfortunately don't know any of the parts very well other than the bass-2 parts, so that's what I've got here.

Africa
Babylon Has Fallen
David's Lamentation
The Gospel Pool
Melancholy Day

niiiice! I'm a bass myself, but I'm able to go up to tenor/baritone should the situation demand.

I tested my lower limits last year in my quartet group singing sing your way home, which nearly shredded my fucking vocal chords.

The lowest note I'm able to match on a piano is A1, which is about 55 Hz. I can only sing long tones that low though, since it takes some effort to even make the sound.

Here we go.

Gotta love that shitty laptop mic quality. And a bay12 radio play would be amazing.

I decided to test out my new mic with a round of Nero's Expedition. It's kinda spooky.

Thread resurrection? Thread resurrection.

Ignore the whirring in the background. The only thing I can do to get rid of that is a noise filter, which is rather non-existent on Vocaroo.
