What, you mean the Hex-Sealed Fusion cards? Fairly certain there are more, but those are the only ones I can get off the top of my head. Oh, and Prisma.

Name: Calagon Lóng
Age: Average for the typical entrant
Appearance: His appearance makes it difficult to tell his gender at a glance.  Due to this and to dodge bullying for it, he wears his hair longer in order so that his ambiguous appearance is blamed on the hair.  The hair is dyed black, but there are a few strands of silver hair buried within it.  His eyes are brown, but with a couple small streaks of red and blue visible under only close examination.  He stands a 5'7" and has a light tan skin tone.
Duel Spirits: Partially.  He can sense they are there, and they can imprint the need to perform certain actions on him, but he cannot see them.  Primary spirit that speaks to him is Divine Dragon Ragnarok.
Backstory: He comes from a middle class family.  He got his first card, Divine Dragon Ragnarok, at a promotional event around the age of ten.  Because of this, and being, somewhat ironically, named after Ancalagon the Black due to his father's enjoyment of the books of Tolkien, he built his deck around dragons, with Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and King Dragun amplifying his ability to use the deck.  The latter of the two becoming his favorite card, as one of the components is his first card.  While he was constantly teased for his appearance by his classmates beforehand, his cards made him one of the better duelists in his class.  Unknown to others, he managed to secure one of the five Industrial Illusions Blue Eyes White Dragon rereleases.  He put it in his deck to aid in the Duel Academy entrance exams, which he managed to convince his parents to allow him to take.  He is nervous about what the reaction will be if he plays it, so he may hold it back unless he believes it is needed or would give him a better showing.

Appearance: Shawn has longish blond hair, which he prefers to keep down, he has silver rimmed glasses and tends to wear jackets and the sort closed, he prefers shoes with straps rather than shoes with laces.
Duel Spirits: Yes
Backstory: Not a very rich or skilled kid Shawn was always the butt of most jokes at school giving him slight issues with interacting with people, preferring distrust to immediate friendship, he was walking home one day when a known group of bullies started approaching him, running Shawn ended up running into the Duel Academy entrance exams, with no prior training and one pack of wizards.

Appearence: Her short black hair is cut like a stereotypical boys', her face is more handsome than beautiful and across one of her cheeks she has long straight scar. She rarely wears girl's clothing. She has muddy green eyes. Her skin is lightly tanned.
Duel Spirits: Does not see them at the moment
Backstory:Eleanor did not have many friends in her early childhood, because of this she spent a lot of it by herself. She discovered a passion for duelling however and even though she didn't have many friends she found many opponents. Eventually she decided that she would like to try and go pro so with her parent's permission gained after months of asking they allowed her to go to the duel academy.

Age: First-year student
Appearance: Tall and somewhat shy.  Her long brown hair frequently has stray leaves or twigs in it from rooting around while caring for her plants, which she is usually oblivious to. 
Duel Spirits: Nope.  She cannot see nor sense spirits at all. 
Backstory: Melissa came to the Duel Academy to learn how to improve her game and possibly go pro duelist, like many students.  She has no particular dark or scary background, nor any special or mystical powers, though she does love plants and flowers, and is a fair hand at archery.  Her parents are both still alive, together, and in a happily-loving relationship.  She is simply an ordinary student caught up in a situation beyond her control.

I'm not sure how many of those things existed when I was playing Duel Monsters. And I'm certain I never had any of them.

At the moment, the temporal options are tied perfectly. Whoo!
