Just checking, but are you some form of: daemon, aberration, spirit, werebeast, vampire, or cannibal?
Why, I'm all six and half-dragon to boot.
Hmm...
I take it those are books? Are you some sort of scholar? And if so, what scholar would find herself alone and wounded in a place such as this?
Yes, but I'm not a scho-
How did you even get wounded anyway? And what was it that "couldn't be fixed by a crude bandage?"
Slow down, would you let me finish?
Alright, yes this does contain a book and some notes of mine. No, I'm not a necessarily a scholar though I do know how to read and write.
I got wounded because I was robbed by a few goblins and left for dead. They took anything of value off me, and as for that final question: a couple of the goblins had cudgels and one got a lucky hit on my side. I think a rib or two are broken, and I probably have a fair amount of internal bleeding around there. I did get one of them in return and probably wounded one or two others.
Now, can you keep playing the hero and drag my sorry hide back to Galam?

Well that explains why the goblin corpse isn't around here.

That just raises even MORE questions as to how she became a cannibal in the first place!

I can tell that this next update will have some fun dialogue to write...

You all have a few more hours to argue though.

The girl rolls her eyes.
Anyways ask and you shall receive. I'll help you get back to your town.
Okay, help me up. I'll guide you to the town.

Wounded Woman has joined the party!

Quelle pulls her up and begins supporting her on one side and Boo assists her on the other. Their speed is hampered by the girl's inability to easily climb obstacles, but eventually they see buildings through the trees.
That's Galam, nearly there.

The town. Enter it. Search for medical help. Of the real kind, of curse, despite what we're about to say:
Alright, half-dragon, we're here. Now to find someone good at dealing with exotic beasts.

In one final push, the small group makes it to the town.
Alright, half-dragon, we're here. Now to find someone good at dealing with exotic beasts.
Hmph, just go to the ward. It's down the street a bit, then a left, and then on the right side of that road.
As Quelle leads the woman down the street, a few villagers stop in their daily duties to gawk at Boo and quite possibly the newcomer.
Despite how many people seem interested in the group, no one comes close to offer help or to greet them.
A few minutes later, they arrive at a small stone building that branches off into a larger one.
Go into that big one, there. That's the main area.
Following her instructions, they enter and find themselves in a small room with a few wooden chairs. A door rests in the back of the room, and, seeing no one in the current room, Quelle leads them inside the second entryway. The room has a multitude of soft looking beds and partitions, and a few robed men and women walk in between them. The room is relatively quiet aside from occasional reassurances from the healers and the moans of those in pain.
After waiting for about a minute, one of the men notices you and the girl and heads over.
Cassandra! You're back! Here, let me help you.
The man takes the girl, Cassandra, from you and leads her over to an apparently unoccupied bed. You lean up against the wall and pet Boo as you decide what to do.

Cassandra has left the party!

Ignoring the fact that the people here could probably heal his ankle, Quelle leaves the ward and begins to wander about the town.
He eventually finds the town square. It is ringed by wooden buildings, and one sticks out from the others. It is as tall as two houses, and there is a large balcony overlooking the green. There are banners on either side of it, with a jagged yellow stripe in the center, black with two stars above it, and solid red below the stripe.
The other buildings are mostly residential, presumably for the more prosperous citizens, but there is a fancy looking inn, a cobbler's shop, and a blacksmith. There is also a building that is noticeably rundown, but not so bad as to stick out much. It appears to be a weaver's workshop.
There are a fair amount of people in the square, but not enough to make it seem busy.
Quelle also noticed that people are still actively trying to avoid him and Boo.
