Sheb's been outvoted. Manuel puts a tired Presidente to bed.

Oh man what a hangover. What's that? Francisco wants a meeting? Okay but I'm not getting out of bed.

Well everyone seems united behind him on this issue. Alright, see to it Francisco.

What's that? Tax code? Listen Francisco, can't this wait? My head is pounding like crazy.

Francisco wants to rewrite our messed up tax code to help business, while Manuel wants to rewrite it to build a worker's paradise. I wonder which option Bay 12 will pick?

Isn't it obvious? Have the rich pay their share. It's time... for socialistic programs, Francisco. Socialistic programs. Eat it!

that restructuring had to be done, you can't have a corrupt government funneling money into the accounts of a dead man, not when they should be funneling money into your accounts instead.

as for the choice this is one where I wish we could do both, they don't seem to be mutually exclusive.
but between the two I'd go for treating all businesses equally as an extension of treating all people equally.

The wealth of the nation will improve as the quality of its people does.  We must have clean water and schooling.  Let the rich share a burden equal to their wealth.

You guys seem to be going for a communist Paradise.  Well, when the US throws a coup, I suppose we can sue them for cold hard cash.

Tax the rich! Tax 'em good!

Well that sounds bad. Better meet with Gloria, our Defense minister.

A draft huh? That sounds a little extreme, but you know what they say about desperate times...

As Internal Affairs minister I suppose Francisco gets a say. He wants reconciliation. Might not be a bad idea, I sort of doubt that National Liberation will be able to train a bunch of farm-boys into a competent force, or that the people will appreciate a draft. Or reconciliation might just allow the rebels to terrorize the countryside while we paralyze ourselves in peace talks.

The bourgeoisie would think the peasantry unable to pull the trigger, and that is precisely why they will ever fall. Give guns to the people, bring war to these right-wing terrorists.

Francisco's kid is getting drafted first. Sheb's is next.

Back in the office! Where to now? Also to answer 10ebbor10's query there are multiple ways to get rid of the death squad, this was only one.

Great. Now we have a full-blown civil war. Before long, the US will be using Iranian money to fund the reactos.

Meet with the TNC representative. I don't see how it help, but I'm wondering what the TNC is.

Huh. The TNC appears to be some sort of American fast-food beef purchasing organization. He wants us to open up Chimerica for free market development. Antonio, our Minister of Foreign Affairs, is so excited by the idea that he's proposed we run an ad campaign to show what a great place to invest Chimerica is. I guess good press wouldn't hurt us when we have an insurgency raging in the countryside. Speaking of...

Things are getting heated in the nation of Chimerica! But for now we must decide: Free market, Free Marketer, or put it on the Agenda. If we put it on the Agenda we can either immediately revisit the issue, this time with National Liberation input, or we can wait until the end of the season and let it be forgotten about. However it doesn't seem like too bad a suggestion. Might make us some money and keep the Americans off our back...

Well, it could be argued that we would be better off eating that beef.

Free market is good.
