Refuse the imperialists. Their time is over, they will not find a slavish people to bully around anymore.

Well that was ominous. We're back in the office now, and its time to pick who to meet next! We could meet with the American Ambassador to try to straighten things out, or we could visit Colonel Ehrlich to have him yell at us. Or we could meet with our minister of External Affairs, although he might yell at us too.

We could also go in a different direction, and get to work on our promises to protect the people from oppression, and start hunting down remnants of the old Farsante regime. Prosecuting the leader of the Farsante Guard, the dictator's notorious death squad, would be a good place to start, or we could meet with the Rights Activist.

Ehrlich's actions present a potentially acute threat to the revolution. We should hear his words, and if possible, reprimand him. Ties with imperialist powers present a very grave danger in our most vulnerable moment.

Off we go to meet the Colonel!

Hmm he was more polite than I was expecting. Pretty much the same decision to make as last time, but it looks like we could return to receiving US aid and have it look like it is on our terms at this point. Or it might look like a terrible flip-flop. Putting it on the Agenda might be best but you, the people, have the final say.

Edit: Also if anyone has any suggestions for who we should meet next then they are more than welcome to submit them.

Well sounds like there's a coup brewing... Anyway off to meet the Commies!

The USSR seems quite willing to send us all manner of aid! However our External Affairs minister seems to believe that its just a ruse to get us hooked on Communism. But I thought religion was the opiate of the people... What do you say Comrades?

Due to a lack of objections I've continued in the path that Jackospades laid out. The Commie path.

Wow we're really annoying the US. That can't end badly. Anyway Chimerica is temporarily crisis free, leaving us open to any number of paths. Who will we meet with next?

I suppose we should go point and laugh at the American Ambassador.

But... Having more blood may make an already unstable country more unstable!

Let the blood calm a bit more before unleashing the sharks.

Yeah, I propose that we hunt down war criminals later. For now, we should propably continue to try and support the people more.

On the topic of supporting the people, Francisco has a proposal to improve infrastructure. Given that this is one of our inaugural promises I figured it would be a good thing to focus on!

However, as usually, National Liberation has an objection to the Popular Stability proposal. Manuel wants to improve all infrastructure, while Francisco wants to focus on improving the main export routes.

Focus on the export roads. We need cold, hard cash. Maybe we can lobby Congress into not nuking us.

Roads for the rich, paths for the poor!

Time to meet the Americans!

This seems like a win/win. Might as well take the development aid the Americans offer us, along with the Soviet military aid. All the aid!

And so ends the first season of our presidency. The Americans are clearly not super pleased with us...

The bean-counters have been hard at work in our countryside, analyzing how well our policies are working.

They show that we've begun to make a dent in the problem of starvation in Chimerica. That's good!

But our national debt has begun to grow. That's bad.

Anyways, continuing on our aid-getting spree, I figure I might as well round it off by asking the Cubans for some aid.

Antonio wasn't particularly pleased with the decision but oh well! We need all the help we can get...

What's next? The debt problem is probably best dealt with now, and we could go beg the IMF for some cash. Or we could always consult a minister, I'm sure they're all dying for a meeting with El Prez. Our US relations could also use some attention, the last thing we want is a US invasion, or CIA supported coup. Also the death squads are still lurking out there...
