Isaac actually checks to see if the parasite is still with her.

Isaac checks the amount of magic in the room to determine if George is still attached to Dalia. It is, but Isaac can barely see the parasite through the haze of Misfortune lingering inside the room. Normally George eats up most of the Misfortune and lets the anti-magic field deal with the rest. But for some reason, probably related to the fact that he isn't controlling Dalia's body, he isn't eating all of that magic and the anti-magic field hasn't increased in power to compensate. The result? Plenty of bad luck and terrible coincidences.

Kaiser puts her back on life support, before analyzing why the nerves aren't doing the things.

[1] For example, the various machines that comprise life support refuse to work after being plugged in again. The mechanical ventilator flat out refuses to start up, while the pacemaker seems stuck in an endless reboot cycle.

The reason why her nerves aren't doing the things is pretty obvious. They have some kind of defect that prevents them from working properly, which means that George has to manage everything. If he doesn't then her body stops working. Like it's doing right now.

Icarus grabbed Alice and threw her on her shoulder, rather forcefully

"We must get to safety.."

[Kansa]

Alice flinched as Icarus grabbed her,
"Icarus wait..."

"Safety..."

[Kansa]

Alice hesitated,
"It's... It's ok Icarus."

[Akroma]

"Not yet. But I will make it all okay. We will survive the apocalypse, just you wait. But for now, it's nap time."

Alice would suddenly feel a pain in her neck, as Icarus jabbed her witha  syringe...

Alice let out a small yelp as she was injected with the syringe,
"What did... did you do to me?" her voice grew weaker towards the end.

[Akroma]

"Just a harmless little nap..."

[Kansa]

Her vision grew blurry,
"I..." she closed her eyes.

[Akroma]

Icarus pointed at Hilda

"Don't follow me."

And flew off into the night, Alice in tow.
