Alice took a step backwards in shock,
"What, I... I... How."

Icarus motioned Alice to silence.


"It would have been easy for Belkelel to copypaste Hildas memories and insert a sleeper at the exact moment Hilda died."

Alice sent her next message over the link,
'But how did you find out?'

"Its the only sensible explanation. It kept trying to find out if I had any plans to fight its mistress."

'Couldn't that be just because she was concerned?'

'I...' she paused for a moment 'Maybe we should head to the vets then, you can pick up your other body and then get away from Hilda for a while'
