Josh leads them to the park and sits down on a bench, tired from the long walk.
"Where you guys from?"
"Yes."

"So you would know that in ancient times, they were the largest settlement of magical people in the world at the time. Over 80% of the population."

 "Mhm."

"Isaac, we'll have to go in on foot. Since this place is a magic vacuum, our standard procedure won't cut it."

Kaiser hands Isaac a Gauss pistol (+3).

"Pistol is semi-auto, clip of 12. Since magic won't work too well inside, we'll have to stick with more conventional methods. Keep it concealed, we don't want to rally up the town against us."

Kaiser then gets off the plane, and begins making his way into town.

"Right."
Isaac follows suit.

As meantioned earlier the place is a gated village, and as such the official entrance into it is a manned gate to prevent people from simply waltzing in like Isaac and Kaiser are trying to do now. The village also has a fence around its perimeter which is presumably not as well guarded should the pair feel like taking an alternative route in.

"Worth asking, or should we assume something's up and jump the fence?"

"So you know why that won't work, correct?"
The lands around Alucard would all show high magical readings.

Alucard sits down and lets out a calming breath, focusing on his surroundings.

Karis hesitated for a moment eventually she replied,
"I'm from a long way away"
