"That's not the point; you have no reason to keep living. You've got no purpose, no end goal. Who would care if you disappeared right now? Maybe Alucard, but that's debatable. Your existence is meaningless.

But if memory serves you were trapped in a bottle, you're not exactly top shit. Me and Isaac could probably take you down right here, right now. Makes me wonder if I should throw you in a void containment chamber and leave you there."

"You were trapped in that bottle for ages, and Alucard was fine. It'd work out nicely. Now if you're quite done being a stain on existence, I'm going to go back to the Nomad and watch a movie."

The forms surrounding Kaiser dissipate as Bartimaeus shapes himself to the form of Dalia, glaring at him with a brutal look in her eyes.
   "You're third on my list," she says in a low voice before she disappears completely in a purple flash, now a crow watching them in the trees, unseen.

Isaac goes with Kaiser.
Ashley takes a seat, apparently meditating.
"It's an object of large Creation energy. Called the Tear of Ea."

Alucard pulls out his thaumometer, probing around for any areas of high magic.
 "It should be easy to locate then."

Two hours fly by quickly as Kaiser and Isaac watch a movie together, but they still have received no sign or message from Dalia yet...

Kaiser sends a few small buds of nanobot clusters out to explore the town, remaining hidden and exploring every structure. Some take the time to expand their numbers, while others infest the metal components of important infrastructure.

Bartimaeus attempts to locate Dalia, teleporting around town for her cursed magic signature.

Icarus goes to do what she used to do when she first came here. Standing in the living room, unmoving.

Kaiser sends a few small buds of nanobot clusters out to explore the town, remaining hidden and exploring every structure. Some take the time to expand their numbers, while others infest the metal components of important infrastructure.

Sending magical nanobots into an area swarming with magic-eating parasites probably isn't the smartest idea in the world. Redesigning them to operate in such a challenging environment severely reduces their effectiveness, and as such it's probably going to take a couple of days to search the place entirely. It is extremely hard to move about in a controlled manner while you're the size of a amoeba after all.

Seeing as the community is absolutely covered in parasites who are greedily sucking up every piece of magic they can, the chances of finding Dalia this way are extremely low. She could be in the next room over and it'd be almost impossible to tell. To make matters worse the parasites interfere with Bartimaeus's teleportation, making it feel like the equivalent of wading through a snowbank. Which is to say slow and exhausting.

"Fuck these parasites... man, whatever. What did she ever do for me. Nothing. She and Kaiser can go die for all I care. And they will."

Karis smiled and nodded,
"That sounds like a great idea, where should we head first?"

"Dunno. I'm just as new to this town as you."

"Time to check on the fresh meat," he says to himself before teleporting away slowly.
As Karis and Catherine walk, they suddenly find a man walking beside them.
 "Looks like you ladies are new here," he acknowledges jokingly.
