"So... So do you want to go" Alice looked up to Icarus with a smile on her face.

Karis gave a sympathetic smile,
"Come on its not that bad, I hardly no anything about the world we're in at the moment and from the sounds of things you have a lot more actual combat experience than me. If you feel that down maybe you should do what Kaiser said and get a hobby or train. It's one of the reasons why I took up swordfighting in the first place."

"Catherine. I showed up while a couple of the group were waiting for someone in France, went to help them out when they went to New York, got hit by a projectile robot or whatever Icarus is, and now I suppose I'm part of the group."

Hakim runs his hand along his head, not really expecting that answer. "Ah. So you're okay with joining the group? Everything is sorted out? Joining like that seems... Implusive, to say the least."

"Yeah? Name one thing with which I've helped you guys. I can't think of anything. And I don't see how getting a job would help. Even if I could get one you already have tons of money and can make pretty much anything, so what would be the point? I wouldn't be doing anything helpful." Dalia doesn't even entertain the idea of getting a hobby, since unless said hobby is surgery or demon-summoning she'd just feel like she's wasting her time while everyone else is doing all of the hard work.

Karis gave a sympathetic smile,

"Uhuh. I barely know anything too, and just because I've seen a lot of fights doesn't mean anything. I spent most of them hiding and trying to not get killed." Dalia thinks for a couple moments about Karis's suggestion of doing some training. Being in a self-defeatist attitude she replies, "I don't see the point. I'm just a normal girl, I doubt that I'd accomplish much if I did that."

Hakim gives Linda a companionable nod as she walks in.

"Well... Welcome aboard. I look forward to seeing what you can do," he replies politely, having private reservations about letting someone so obviously young join the group.

"You're just saying that to try and cheer me up. I haven't done anything important since I joined." Dalia shrugs as she starts to lose her will to argue and fight, "I don't see what potential you're talking about, unless it's the kind that everyone else has, I guess. If you guys really want me to train then I'll train, though you'll have to be a little more specific about what training I need to do."

((She knows that she leaks misfortune and can direct it due to various tests she underwent while back in France. But the only feedback she gets is a slight tingling in her fingers, since the effects of misfortune are very subtle (except in high quantities, which causes molecules/atoms to spontaniously decay and release plenty of radiation). Hence why she thinks she's not contributing to the group because she can't tell whether her magic is having an effect on enemies or not.))

Whether you've realized it or not, you're actually superhuman already; your strength and endurance is at least three times human average, at the least. You could probably give a world class boxer a run for his money.

Training for you would be... I dunno... survival situations?" Kaiser scratches his head awkwardly.

"Don't be stupid, I'm not kicking you that hard," Dalia replies, with an accompaning kick to the shins to prove her point. "You're just over reacting, I'm nowhere near as strong as you think I am. If I went up against a boxer I'd probably just get pummelled to a bloody plup."

Hearing Kaiser's less than confident suggestion, Dalia sighs. "Uhuh. Well, if you actually come up with a worthwhile thing for me to train at, I'll be in my room."

"Where else am I supposed to kick you? Everything else takes too much effort." Dalia nods at Kaiser, acknowledging his offer, and then retreats back to the safety of her room for a bit.

((I'm not sure where you're getting 15 from, since Dalia has only 10 strength. Which is still high, but you did specifically meantion in the OP that for RP purposes she can act like she has less than that.))

Alice paused for a moment,
"If... If you want to wait, we can do that too."

Karis watched the two talk carefully, when Dalia had left the room she spoke.
"What do you think she would like to train at?"

"Some self-defensive techniques, maybe? She could also practice her, uh, cursing? but I have no idea how she'd train that."
