Alice got a feeling that Icarus is not entirely certain if that actually includes her though.

Alice looked back towards her, she paused.
"I... I suppose we can, it would be nice to eventually." she hesitated for a moment before asking the question "Do you think you will?"

"Zhehahaha. And do watch out. While at other times it might have been an interesting experiment on the nature of your mortality, to see what happens to a void walker if they die while sealed from the void, I do not wish it upon yoou or your friends to find out."

For a while Alice didn't reply, eventually though she spoke.
"I'll... I'll make sure you will"

Icarus doesn't respond, she just stares at Alice.

Alice looked towards Icarus,
"I... I will protect you and make sure you survive. So... So we can both be happy in the end, together. I won't lose anyone else."

At first, Alice would only notice Icarus shaking...her upper lip starting to tremble. But it slowly crept upon her that Icarus was not even paying attention to her words of encouragement. Icarus was staring not at Alice, but behind her.
