Illian sighed slightly and looked back towards Linda,
"I suspect though he was after Titus."

Vierus took a step backwards as he saw Hilda, he stared at her for a moment before speaking.
"How did you get in here?"

"Salim is my god, I worship her and keep the faith."

"I need to talk with you."

"As expected, with him being the last heir... However, I have a feeling something is wrong with Titus. Was there any magical incidents that happened to him when he was younger, or any time before the murders?"

Karis laughed,
”It was a bit of that too I must admit. Being a princess is ok, it can get a bit lonely sometimes and I didn't really get that much freedom except when I sneaked out. It's nice as well though, living in the palace and not really having to worry about providing for myself are good benefits.”

"Uhuh," Dalia says, nodding along to let Karis know that she's listening. "That still sounds really nice to me, even if I wouldn't want to be a princess. It sounds too constraining to me. So... Now what? Can we finally leave? Everyone seems to have forgotten us, she comments as she looks around the place.

((I rather enjoy how everybody else is running around, trying to solve these killings while Dalia and Karis are just standing around and chatting.))

"That doesn't matter. What matters is that you confess to Titus before she does."

Karis looked around,
”I think it will probably be ok, if they want us they can just fetch us back.”

Illian looked out back across the grounds once more, her hand tapping a rhythm on the roof that she sat on.
”He got wounded a couple of years before the first murders, almost died before that servant of his dragged him back”

Vierus looked towards Hilda, his age clearly showing as he spoke.
”What about?”

A man walked towards the King and whispered into his ear, the royal figure paused for a moment and the beckoned Ranil over towards him. Ranil did not seem phased in the slightest as he headed towards the leader.

"Any family history of random mana discharges? And what were the details of the injury or its causes."

Kaiser watches intently.

Hilda looks at him, "Icarus is going to try to bring evidence against you, despite your innocence. I want to stop her."

Illian continued her rhythm upon the roof,
”No, nothing like that.” she hesitated for a moment and looked back towards the sniper ”The injury was pretty serious, he was wounded on a hunting expedition. Eager to prove himself he ventured after the beast himself, it did not end well. It was a close thing, he probably should have died out there.”

The king leant forwards as the high priest approached him, he spoke but it was difficult for Kaiser to hear what was said from that far away. Ranil still had a smile on his face as he talked to the ruler and as the conversation progressed the king paled slightly. If the boy was watching closely he would spot the king discreetly signal some guards, they edged closer towards Ranil.

Vierus paused for a moment as he studied Hilda, he eventually sighed,
”So she doesn't know then.”

Karis looked around,
”I think it will probably be ok, if they want us they can just fetch us back.”

"Okay, so... Let's go then?" Dalia takes a couple steps back to confirm that she is indeed leaving the place. If nobody says anything or tries to stop her, waves her arms at Kaiser to try and get his attention so that they can go out and hit the town.
