Alice smiled,
"That's... That's just silly"

[Akroma]

"This whole place is silly. See that woman? She is wearing *purple*. What a brute."

[Kansa]

"Purple isn't that bad." she said, still smiling.

[Akroma]

"Okay, I wonder if they have divorce lawyers in here too."

Icarus is clearly mocking Alice...or is she? Lack of voice inflection can be difficult...

[Kansa]

Alice let out a small laugh,
"Come on, lets... lets see what they have in the shops."

[Akroma]

Icarus goes shopping with Alice

"I... it's just... he's the one that kept us all a group. He's the only one left from Northsdale anyways... Maria hasn't been around in forever and we just use her house... We need a new base... Gods... I'm rambling.
Ashley sighs.
"I just don't know how I should go about this... He was a close friend... Possibly even my best friend."

Before the teleportation was finished, Ashley and Alucard already had a feeling that something was going wrong. As if pulled by a hook somewhere behind their navel, they are thrown off course to an unknown destination. They emerged in total blackness. Not the blackness of the void, which left objects floating in it easily visible, but a deep dark, that swallowed every bit of their vision.

"Somewhere he's watching over us, both in thought and in afterlife," he says before teleporting.
Alucard looked around in surprise, clearly knowing that they don't belong here.
 "Ashley, where did you teleport us? What the hell?"

Like the first temple the second one was taller than the various other structures around it. It was made from the same white marble that most of the buildings were made from and above the wooden doors was a symbol of a single eye. In front of the doors a priest stood, clad in pure white robes he watched the people who walked around the temple.

Bartimaeus attempts to sneak behind one of the wandering people and morph into their shadows. After all, he has no idea whether he's welcome or not.

[Akroma]

From somewhere in front of Alucard, a voice echoes through the darkness.

"Ahh. How far these two young seekers have wandered. And what fit candidates they are. But why are you following the call of the dark so late? The trial has already ended, and the dark has chosen."

[Kansa]

It took a while of walking around the city but they eventually managed to find a clothes shop, it was a small place but actually had quite a wide selection of clothes. Alice wasted no time in examining them and quickly managed to pick out a few that she might like, she came out a while later in a red dress smiling slightly as she looked towards Icarus.
"What do... do you think?"

Bartimaeus managed to slip inside of the shadow of a woman heading towards the temple, the priest smiled towards the person and let them pass as the entered the building. The hall that he entered into was large and he could spot several priests and worshippers around the place, the woman eventually entered into the main hall of the building, rows of benches dominated the room and there was a pedestal at the very end. There did not seem to be anyone currently preaching from it though.

[Akroma]

"Hmm, an 8 out of 10. Couuuld be better."

[PrivateNomad]

Bartimaeus continued to observe.
"Reveal yourself."

[Akroma]

"I am Grandahl, giver of dark. I act on behalf of the one true darkness, that can not free itself from the bindings that hold him. Your request however, young seeker, is puerile. What you observe is an old, deep darkness, that has existed since times long gone. There is no light that can penetrate it."

[PrivateNomad]

 "Darkness? Why are we here, 'Giver of Dark'?"

[Akroma]

"We need the abyss, now more than ever. And you two, still young, but with a darkish shadow. Those drawn to the dark are destined to seek it."

[Kansa]

Alice looked down at herself and nodded,
"I... I think you're right, hold on." Alice retreated back inside the changing room and this time came out with a white dress with a pattern of black butterflies up the side. She gave a small twirl "How about this?"

The woman sat down on one of the empty benches, she bowed her head and began to do what Bartimaeus assumed to be silent praying.
