Ashley jumps!
((Embargo Katana is made out of silver. Voidcrosser sword that Alucard uses is made of a Titanium and Mordite alloy.))
((Ah. Alright. Alucard's sword will be rather ineffective, though not totally. What is Mordite, exactly?))
As she jumps, the hound does as well; however, Alucard's spatial distortion works, though it isn't aimed all that precisely and so Ashley also ends up a foot to the left. She comes down hard on the icy cobbles, stumbling; if her friend wasn't weighing her down, she would have been able to recover. As it was, though, with longer legs that she wasn't accustomed to, very high speed, a bad landing, and frozen footing...the Voidwalker managed to keep her balance for a few seconds longer, but in the end, she slammed into the cobbles, Alucard tumbling out of her grip to roll along the path a few feet ahead.
The greyhound, having missed it's target, instead collides with it's fellow, giving the pair a few brief seconds to recover and see their fate coming towards them, the first of the beasts loping with great pounding jumps.
And then the stag charged it, antlers impaling the hound all across it's body, from the side, as the pair had just barely made it to the woods. Tossing away the injured hound, it scuffed one of it's hooves, glared back at the two of them, and charged to meet the rest of the pack.
As might be expected, the stag was a ferocious fighter, tossing aside beast after beast, but against the number of foes it fought, who got up, however slowly, after every blow, it was no match. Alone, it could not hope to win. But this did not mean it could not keep up the fight for some time.
Still...to assist, or flee?
