Alice began to feel tears building up in her eyes but she did her best to hold them back. She gestured towards Icarus as James mentioned her
"This is... is Icarus, she's my fiancée"

Icarus gives him a fistbump saying "sup bitch"

James is appropriately stunned.

"...I need to process this. Let's go home, first of all."

Alice nodded,
"Ok, that sounds like a... a good idea"

James pays the bartender, then leads the pair back to his house.

"What happened after... you left? I need a recap."

[Kansa]

Alice walked beside him, the hints of tears still in her eyes.
"For... For a couple of years I was alone, I just tried to survive. I then heard rumours about these people with... with magical powers like... like mine" she hesitated "I went to find them and they let me stay, that was when I met Icarus. She was very kind to me and with her help we managed to break the..." she looked down "the curse, I've lived with her for the past five years moving around France. We... We just moved to Australia recently though"

"Australia, huh? That's half a world away. So, this fiancée business..."

[Kansa]

Alice nodded,
"We're... We're going to get married, soon if we can"

[smurfingtonthethird]

"...So that's why you are here then.

Icarus, is it? I think we should have a talk."

Since apparently Alice and Icarus flew all the way to France in a conventional fashion, it is now morning in Australia. As such Dalia (eventually) gets out of bed, gets dressed, and makes her way to the Nomad's kitchen, where she slumps wearily into a seat and makes herself some cereal for breakfast. Assuming that someone else doesn't butt in to make her some, of course.

Aedan is making waffles.

Dalia stares at Aedan for a couple of moments, trying to blink away the sleep from her eyes, before things finally click. "So... Who let you on this time? I'm pretty sure that we locked the door. I think."

"I did. Want some waffle? Kate wanted some so I figured I would make everyone else some as well."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"In our kitchen? Don't you have your own, much larger one? And who's Kate anyways?" Dalia asks. She isn't wrong, by the way. The Nomad is cramped at the best of times. The kitchen in the Ryan household has much more space to work in.
