The crystal's sound stops, and after a few minutes Icarus hears another voice.


"Hello, Icarus. I assume you're calling for Alice? She seems to have evaded our defenses, even resorting to killing her guard. But do not worry, we will send you her corpse," he says, his voice tainted with malice and his tongue sharp, with a slightly imperious tone as if he's used to being the boss.

"I assume you don't want the arcane seal then? Fine. We still have some gods who owe us a favour. I am sure heaven itself will be a much more secure place than this silly dwarven dungeon. If you guys don't want to fight your way through an entire pantheon of gods and angels, you will not lay a finger on her. Call of all your guards and whatever you have sent after her, and if I hear from her within the next 24 hours, the arcane seal will not go to heaven. If I find as much as a single bruise on her, you will pay the price. Vremis was no match for me, neither are you."

Kaotaro finishes changing, and comes out wearing something markedly different from her usual outfit. She looks...cute, for once.

Kaiser nods, then prepares to disembark the Nomad. CORE has plans otherwise, and the plane jolts, Kaiser falling face first on the ground.

Hey I know you probably don't like me, most of my friends don't, but could you send your jet to pick me and a newbie up? I tried Alucard but he's busy.

Kaotaro smiles slightly, but it turns predatory as she steps off the plane.
"I wonder what it says that the best way he can think of to entertain himself is the same thing thought of by five-year-olds on the playground~"

She offers a hand to Kaiser to help him up, leaning over to reach down.

Kaiser props himself up with her help.

"Thanks, Kaotaro.

Core, go pick up Kyle and whatshisface."

"K dot."

The Nomad zips off to wherever Kyle is, leaving Kaiser and Kaotaro behind in a light cloud of dust.

"Park is up this way."

Pick up inbound. Please don't touch anything, or aggravate CORE. Or let the new person talk to CORE.

Dalia gives Kaotaro and Kaiser a dirty look through the window of Maria's house, and then wanders over to watch Sen and Ashley try and help Alucard. She unhelpfully offers some advice, "Wouldn't it make more sense to remove his armour first? So that you can actually see what you're doing?"

Sen looks at Dalia, "His armor is grafted to his body due to his travels in the Void. It basically keeps him alive," Sen looks at Ashley, "Think Bartimaeus is dead? He probably got summoned to a different existence." Sen laughs at the last part.
