Kaiser picks them up, narrowing his eyes at her pause.
"Okaaay."
He commands a few of his nanobots to follow her around.
The nanobots follow Dalia into her room as Kaiser lugs the boxes downstairs. Unlike the rest of the apartment, her room is much more homey. It's still small and cramped, and the walls are still bare, but she has added a few touches to make it her own. Like a few dry and withered plants on the windowsill, the mirror with all the pictures on it, and the general clutter.
Dalia's bedroom has the usual furniture, a bed, nightstand, and wardrobe, all of which look more expensive than the rest of the furniture in the apartment and thus probably comes from her old home. The top of the wardrobe is covered in hair ties, bobby pins, ribbons, and other hair accessories, as well as an old and battered stuffed toy in the shape of a monkey, spare change, and other random odds and ends. Her nightstand is similarly cluttered, and also has an old radio-alarm set to the wrong time. The mirror in her bedroom is more interesting, since she has taped a few photos to it. Most of them seem to be her and her friends goofing around, though a significant chunk of them involve Dalia and two women who appear to be her parents. Though if they aren't, the pictures of them hugging and playing with a younger Dalia would be extremely creepy. She even has a few stiffy formal photos of her grandparents, tucked between the more spontaneous shots. Finally, placed in the top-right corner of the mirror, away from the photos, is a cutting of a french newspaper, detailing a car crash on the French-Italian border that happened a couple months ago. The Simoneit family is mentioned as one of the victims.
The reason why Dalia didn't want Kaiser to see her room just yet is very obvious. Her bed is covered in a small layer of dirty laundry. Including underwear. All of which she stuffs into a box before Kaiser can come back.
