"I have no clue. It just... exists."
The shapes bend, twist, and intertwine until it forms a little tiara-like object. It floats onto Dalia's head.
"As I said. It's something else."
Ashley grabs the arm, twisting it to the point of almost breaking.
"Do not touch me."
Depending on where Kyle goes, he might find Ashley.

Kyle heads towards the spot the castle was long ago.

He grunts in pain and lets go.
   "Anything for you, my sweet~."
Ashley feels that he's blowing a kiss.

"Of course. Try it on me - use all the magic that you can!"

Dalia glares at Bartimaeus for a couple seconds, and then sighs. "Alright. Fine. If you really want me to." She takes a couple of steps back, plants her feet firmly on the ground, shoulder-width apart, and points her finger at Bartimaeus. At first nothing seems to happen, though she grits her teeth and sweats a little. Then her dress and hair starts to flap and sway in an nonexistent breeze. Finally the light show starts. Well, it's not much of a light show, but it's more impressive than what went on before at least. The tentacles of the creature on her back start to glow a faint blue as it extends them towards her outstretched finger, the light intensifying as they approach until they can be seen with the naked eye.

And then light show ends as Dalia faints, the tiara bouncing off of her head as she collapses onto the ground.

Bartimaeus tries to do something.

Isaac catches Dalia with a projection.
"How do you even know about that?"

Bartimaeus is going to have to be more specific for Dalia's curse to kick in. Then again, if he can sense magic he would realize that she hit him with something powerful, so waiting until it wears off might be the best idea. Though if he could sense magic, he probably would have already noticed the creature on her back and so wouldn't be so surprised. Whatever.

Dalia quickly comes to and opens her eyes. "Ow. I feel like someone pricked me with needles all over. What happened?"

   "I was watching from the window."
The man reveals himself - but this time he appears to be in completely normal clothing.
   "Soo... can I have that mythril blade back, sweetheart?"
The man doesn't even notice Kyle coming.
"Well you sure did something to me-"
Bartimaeus suddenly shapeshifts into a duck.
 "...What the fuck?"

Dalia blinks. "What? What did you do?"

Bartimaeus shapeshifts into a dog.
   "I didn't do tha-"
A cat. A bear. A tentacle thing. Meepo.
   "Not funny. Turn it off."

Kyle lands nearby out of the sight of the man.

Dalia frowns, "I dunno how to. It should wear off eventually. Or at least that's what it usually does..."

That's not an ominous triple-dot, by the way. Her curse has been quickly weakening as they talk.

"So you curse people, huh? Interesting power."
The projections help Dalia stand back up.
"Hmm... No, I have plans for it. Think of it as my battle prize."

"Sorta. It's usually no where near as impressive than that though." Dalia is pretty shaky on her feet, but at least it doesn't seem like she'll pass out again. "And it's not like you can do anything interesting with it too. Just... Make people annoyed at you and hope someone else comes in to help."
