Garrett looks over Stella.

"I see. I was unaware of the existence of half-dragons, too. Truly, there is still much I have to learn."

"It is unlikely the dragons in this world have the shapeshifting magic which would allow creatures such as myself, your lack of knowledge is not your fault.

Coming?"

"Ah, yes. May I ride you, or must I make other arrangements?"

((yep, there are human males that father children with dragons. How's that for a bond, dragon knight ?))

Stella bends her right foreleg to make it easier to get on

[smurfingtonthethird]

Garrett climbs up nimbly, carefully positioning himself on her back.

"Thank you, miss. Shall we depart?"

[wolfchild]

Stella replies by launching herself into the air, it takes at most half an hour before they are flying over water.

She slows to a glide so the wind would not interfere with what she is saying

"How are you fairing?"

"I am well. It is good to fly again..."

Garrett smiles, and looks at the horizon.

[wolfchild]

Stella reatches into her bag (human sized backpack but also has a strap that makes it the right size for a shoulder bag in her dragon form), and hands garret up a set of harness

"Bind yourself to me before I speed up again, the wind is going to get turbulent soon"

Garrett straps on the harness, and leans down to avoid the wind blasts.

"Good idea. How far do we have to fly?"

[wolfchild]

"Quite a way, its basically in the middle of nowhere"

"If you want to speak just tap me"

Stella speeds up again

Garrett nods, and puts his head down. He also boosts Stella's speed.

Fortunately Stella is already fast over long distances and the journey seems to only last a few hours, Stella circles to land on a small (100 km diameter) volcanic island, although the volcano is long dead.  There is a convenient opening, only one in the side, large enough to allow even the biggest of dragons through.
