"I can't make planes out of nothing and armour and stuff, so shut up. Your powers are ten times cooler than mine."

"Y-yeah, but yours a-actually does s-something."

"And making stuff isn't doing something? And I can barely tell if my stuff works or not. I get a tingling in my finger and that's it. For all I know it could just be dumb luck."

"I mean, God, who gives a shit whether you have super fancy magical powers that 99.9% of the populace doesn't have? As long as the job gets done, it doesn't fucking matter!"

Spensir seems unable to really move, thanks to the time distortion, at least in any meaningful way. He also pointedly ignores the (hopefully) sarcastic comment about 'style'.

He also seems unfazed or perhaps unaware of his own hypocrisy, but this probably doesn't have anything to do with time being distorted.

Sarcastic? Clearly he does not know Icarus well. Remember kids, when you are commiting brutal slaughter against almost chanceless guys that just happen to be on the wrong side, what matters is that you have funw hile doing it, else it's just grim.
