Dalia makes sure that she's wearing proper gloves before touching the ladder. She's not that stupid after all.

Dalia got the warm clothes from Icarus, so she climbs down just fine.

With a bit of thinking Kyle makes it into a semisticky and not very lethal crossbow thing. It will definitely be distracting at least.

Kyle prison-improvised a crossbow. Every bored kid at school would find it rad and get in detention for it.

Dalia joins Kyle I suppose, whispering to him,  "So what are we waiting around for?"

Kaiser creates a pair of metal fibre gloves, and hands them to Winry.

He follows Dalia down, his armor protecting his hands.

"N-nothing to be w-worried a-about, I'm fine...r-really...Yeah, what are we doing?"

Kyle quickly puts the gum on the 'arrow' and then fires into the hall.

"I dunno. Waiting for Kyle to say something I guess."

"...alright, can I ask who the armored guy is, then?"

"Bartimaeus. Shapeshifter from the void."

"The void meaning space?"

Kaiser climbs down.


Kyle pokes out of the hatch and fires the gum, before ducking back up again. It harmlessly bounces against someone. There is a short sound of someone freaking, but they soon realise that gum is not deadly. They are very confused though...


"They are on the roof of the elevator! Get them!"


"No, fool, it's a trap! They have their guns pointed down the hatch, the moment someone gets in there, bam, dead man. But they have no idea who they are messing with. Watch this."




There is some silence for a while. Then, suddenly, a grenade hovers up the hatch. With a *plink* the grenades ring is pulled out.

Kyle throws it back.

Dalia freaks the fuck out and tries to climb back up the ladder to escape the blast.

Kaiser closes the hatch after he makes sure the grenade is down there.

[3] vs [8] Kyle grabs the grenade and tries to throw it down, but a force is keeping it in place. The grenade goes off right in his hand, and would have probably torn it right off if not for the powerarmor absorbing most of the shock

[10+5] (oh shit that damage roll) vs [5+1][3+2][6+2] (+2 from Kyle being basicaly providing partial cover. Those unfortunate in the elevator shaft get point-blanked by a grenade. Kyle takes 9 damage, Kaiser takes 10, and Dalia 7. These guys don't screw around.

Kyle looks at his hand before shrugging and flying through the hole at top speed towards the guards.
