Kaiser turns off the anti-magic and anti-void generators first. Hopefully nothing is being restrained by them.

Once the generator is off, those that can sense magic immediatly notice void energy radiating through the floor. It's faint, but definetly there.

Dalia joins the rest of the party, "So the generators are down, right? We just have to go in and grab whatever we came here for, right?"

I suppose Kyle goes down alone then. He presses the down button and climbs on top of the hatch, which was a good call, because as soon as the door open, machine gun fire penetrates the back of the elevator, even a grenade gets tossed in.


"Wait. It's a trick. They sent it down empty, spare your ammo."


"Man, we really need reinforcements."


"Fuck you Boris, we are in antarctica. Where do you think we would get reinforcements from?!"


Kyle hears something that sounds suspiciously like someone being slapped with a gun.

"I took a b-bit of d-damage from that g-grenade... but I'm f-fine."

Kaiser looks down the shaft.

The shaft is icy and unlit. He can't even see Kyle down there.

"A bit of damage? How much is that?" she asks as she looks down the shaft for a ladder or some other way down. And to hide her look of concern for Kaiser.

There is a maintenance ladder. The metal is right against the ice, so without proper gloves, climbing this will be painful..
