Dude is as ancient as Lucifer. Machkobeln had been continuously killed many many times, which caused his mind to accelerate his aging. He is, mentally, older than shys'm Caes, but is only as old as Lucifer. This is what his ability, Paradoxical existence, is capable of. Being able to see the truth as well as lies is another form of the ability.

Machkobeln grabs Albretch's neck and lifts him off the ground [65 vs 12]. He isn't choking him, but Albretch realizes he isn't able to escape.

The demon is hit by salt and his skin begins to sizzle. The demon does not let go of Albretch

Alucard clears the FUCK out the building, and proceeds to call a shit ton of people--the group, SERT, IRIS... All of them would likely be concerned about an ancient superpowerful demon on the loose.

Albrecht, if he successfully slices his own shirt off to get away, vanishes and gets the fuck out behind Alucard.

The demon doesn't seem to persue Alucard. He doesn't attempt to grab Albretch either. He walks back over to the scarfed man and continues to look at Albretch.

Not saying Sanure's character was bullshit, just that the utter luck of running straight into a character who counters the only two people on the plot is stupid. ))
