((I have a feeling that shapeshifting into any form of matter as a negliable act is massively OP. Water? what's next, shift into air? at the very least some forms of transformation should cost mana, to make them a resource that needs to be carefully considered, rather than spammed at every turn, and considering bartimaeus magic stat is only 7, some forms of transformation should actually be impossible for him until he levels up.))

((Well, do you want me to change his character sheet? The GM seemed to be fine with it.))

((I'll leave consideration up to smurf, but if this is any indication, Bartimaeus ability is a "solve problem" button with no drawback or limitation. It seems like it was overlooked))

((edit: also sleep time))

((Then I'll let Smurf decide))
Bartimaeus lets gravity do its work. Petty force of creation.

((dammit, i have study to do, stop distracting me  :P

Anyways, easy way to solve this problem would be for Barti's morphs to actually pick up the physical aspects of whatever's he's morphing into. For example, if he turns into a flea, the cold is going to fuck him over. If he turns into a puddle, he better hope he can keep all the water that was once his body together.))

((What if he shapeshifted into a flea with cold resistant skin?))

((no such flee. whatever he shapes into would at least have to exist))

((Would that mean his stats would change too? If he shapeshifted into a metal wall, would he have the END of a metal wall?))

((Well, you could, but you'd probably have some sort of biological side effect.)

((Would that mean his stats would change too? If he shapeshifted into a metal wall, would he have the END of a metal wall?))

((Probably, but changing into a non-living object is a bad idea, due to the fact you can't move.))

((I'd say his stats would change, as long as what he is changing into does not have a higher total than him in stats, in that case he falls short. Considering that in combat it takes a full round to change form, it's not something that can actually be abused to minmax stats, as it is a whole lot less versatile than, say, Hilda. I mean, sure, shape into a metal wall, have huge endurance but nothing else at all. I still think shape-shifting should cost at least a bit of mana))

Stella meanwhile has to take the marked exams back to Campus

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

((Because if a critter like that existed, it would just fall over from being too top heavy. And then they could shoot your legs.))

((Assuming an engine is connected up to it, you could be a metal wall on treads. That would not stop people shooting up your tracks.))
