Kyle walks in. The squad is standing in front of an oblong, black case, with a glass screen. Inside is a sleeping girl, covered in a thick layer of chitin.

Michael has faceplanted in the outskirts of Berbera.

"Well, Somalia is not really full of jungles, it's really just savanna. Nowhere to hide there, and when I get that dude, it's probably in his base. I could try and pass as many of us as I can as parts of the mercenary team, then we could maybe fight our way out. I considered briefly to maybe find out if any of his underlings have interests in ebtraying him and taking his place, but that needs longterm contact during the infiltrating, which would mean actually having to work for them for a while - I am not keen on that."

"That could work, it would be difficult though and..." Alice hesitated "and a lot of people would die"

"Well, if you can somehow park that unseen close to the base, it would provide a solid getaway. Just take off *fast*. I mean, these are somalian warlord minions, they have rpgs everywhere...maybe we can park it in plain sight? If we pretend to be mercenaries, we could say it's ours."

Michael moves to get concealment from Berbera
"Mind telling me where a Somalian Warlord might put his base?"

"SERT said they'd soon have reckon data, but even if not, we just ask the locals where his dudes usualy hang out, grab some of them, and either peacefully approach them asking for employment, or just beat the answer out of them."

"W-well, the p-plane is... fifty m-metres long, has a VTOL s-system, t-twelve a-autocannons... four bedrooms, a kitchen... and an idiotic AI driving it. I-I'm... pretty sure i-it can take off f-fairly fast."


"It's in the docks. You are currently in some farms outside the city."

Michael examines his clothing, hoping for colors that would blend in with the tans of a desert
He heads towards the coast, going through the city and staying low profile.

Oh look. The woman in gothic attire is watching from the wreckage now, making sure not to be seen. Her Chinese body guard is not with her.

Albrecht is in Alexandria, loitering outside Sen's shop. He's disguised with his illusion powers as a typical laborer in the area; taking note of anyone who stays outside Sen's bookshop.

Well, there doesn't appear to be anyone outside of her shop, but there are plenty of buildings around the shop so someone could be monitoring it from one of them.

His clothes are all dusty anyway, so they'll do. Michael walks through the slum's streets, attracting a bit of attention. A technical slowly drives past him, occupants staring him down.


"...Damn straight, Chief. Overlord, we're going to extract the bio-hazard."

He wipes the soot off the canister. It has the numbers '682' imprinted at the bottom.

"682-tan?" "Shush, ya weeaboo."

Meanwhile, the woman and bodyguard are watching from the shadows, completely unnoticed.
