Kyle flies around to get a good look at the thing. The sight of Master Chief flying around it probably will make them think of a certain member of the Northsdale Five.

Michael pulls the parachute cord and attempts to aim towards an open area.

Michael lands on the dusty ground hard, face down. The collar starts emitting orders.
