The Wraith Lord grabs a normal wraith and consumes it, boosting her speed ((it's a perk I missed, sneaky sanure)) before unleashing a dark fog over the battlefield. No-one can see very far, plus it's reducing their offensive capabilities. ((Reduces STR, SPD, SKL, and MAG by 5 for all ground PC's until they leave the fog.))

HILDA can't aim with the fog. ((reducing all your stats down to 5 seems dumb now dun it))

Bartimaeus conjures another ball and fires it at the wraith lord, but it misses.

Icarus boosts her skill, and attempts to land a blow on the wraith lord, but they all miss.

Alice lifts up her machete and with a dramatic gesture sent another bolt of lightning towards the Wraith Lord. It misses.

Stella charges after Bartimaeus, trying to convince him to stop.

"Titanslayer will be here in [one turn] and a big bomb [in the next]."

One of the projector trucks manages to land a lucky blow on the Wraith Lord, and it falls backwards through a skyscraper. It is helpless, and the fog lifts, while the Eternal Twilight's dome starts to fluctuate, and the shadow wraiths start disappearing.

((It's HP is -10.5, but I'm leaving it helpless to Bartimaeus's mercy, because angst, man, angst. You've got one turn to do whatever you want to do.))

SERT troops are cheering.

"Alright, finish the job."

Get out of the area, staying low and hidden. Point camera towards fallen shade as I go.

Asuna stares at Ester, who is presumably unconscious. Then at Kaiser.

Bartimaeus slowly hovers down to the Wraith Lord.

"S-Shade... I know y-you'll never wake up but I.. I-I just want to s-say this before I en-end your despair...

I'm sorry... so so sorry I wasn't there for you... If I h-had just been there, all of this wouldn't have transpired... I-I'm so sorry... so sorry....... p-p-p-p-please.. please forgi-forgive me..."

Bartimaeus raises his large claws and conjures a black orb of magic into it, slowly cycling his claws together as if nursing the orb of magic. Blue and green sparks drop from his eyes--his tears, as he finishes conjuring the ball. He lobs the ball which flies towards the Wraith Lord, purple energy arcing from it to the ground as it whizzes past and envelopes the Wraith Lord in a large ball of pure black, entirely encompassing her. And in turn, killing her.

Bartimaeus's true form flickered and slowly morphed back into the black form of a shadow man on his knees, tears dropping from his eyes, yet ever-so-silent.
