Thermal imagery and the like near the dome would probably detect Michael.

Michael is the least of their problems. The eldritch entity in the dome is the primary focus. SERT is planning to evac him once they make groundfall, because they're expecting the shit to hit the fan.

So... crisis averted?

The castle crisis resolved itself, apparently. According to the media, the guy gave himself up to the French Air Force, and there were no casualties. For once, nothing to do with magic, either.

Kaiser has the terrible realisation he's been mostly ignoring Maria, due to being distracted by the castle stuff.
