Well, he does hit on nearly every single one he sees, which results in a fair amount of slapping. I'm pretty sure he got thrown into the river by a lamia once, ha. He also gets all weird when talking about girls. He's never actually done something really bad though, so I guess the best term I have for him is a chivalrous pervert.

A sly grin appears on Bartimaeus's face as he begins to send void magic at the helicopter's engine.

The helicopter's rotor slowly stops spinning.

"Agh! What's going on! SHIT-"

The helicopter crashes into the castle, sending some brickwork flying. The rotor flys off and damages some battlements, while the body of the craft is slightly crushed. There's a dust cloud over the scene.

 "Oops, did I accidentally a helicopter?"

Bartimaeus lets the helicopter fall. He teleports to where Kyle is.

 "Long time no see, Kyle. Good news--the media has been taken care of."

Okay then... As long as he hasn't done anything bad, I guess. Hopefully he'll grow out of it or something. Or at least not get thrown into the river as often.

Kyle points out the window.
"Fix the fucking helicopter now."
Kyle turns back to the radio.
"Sir, this isn't a vehicle. It's a castle. And I do have the proper licensing for owning a castle. And I am right now over a civilian center. Would you really like me to land?"

Bartimaeus groans and checks on the helicopter.

Kyle points out the window.
"Fix the fucking helicopter now."
Kyle turns back to the radio.
"Sir, this isn't a vehicle. It's a castle. And I do have the proper licensing for owning a castle. And I am right now over a civilian center. Would you really like me to land?"

((which castle is this? I can't gauge its size.))

"The engines on the base of the castle make it a vehicle. You've also shot down a media helicopter, for no good reason. Retreat from Lyons airspace, find a clearing, and land immediately. Final warning. Lethal force will be engaged."

The military helicopters have nearly reached the castle now. They have their guns ready.

Bartimaeus groans and checks on the helicopter.

It's completely smashed up. The camera crew are all injured, one severely, whereas the pilots are just unconscious.

Several other media helicopters film the carnage.

Hopefully. They shot down the CNN helicopter!

Kaiser realises he's been on his phone for a while. He's also gobsmacked at the fact that the helicopter crashed on the castle.

"W-what the hell is your friend up to? He took out a helicopter, Maria!"

Alice paced through the halls of the college, worried sick about what was going on in the castle.

"I didn't shoot anything down! Why would I shoot down a random news copter when YOU GUYS are threatening me? And tell me the definition of a vehicle!"

Bartimaeus groans and uses a bunch of his mana to cast an illusion of the helicopter going back up, as if it just suffered a malfunction.

The helicopter's tail is snapped off, and the media fleet can see it. Making an illusion here would just give them another reason to sic magicians.

You hear ruffling noises on the other end.

"Alright, you're talking to the brass now. I have one thing to say to you: Pick up your friend without flying a giant castle over a populated area. Honestly, we have trains and planes for a reason. Should you want to make an entrance, try contacting the government before beelining into the city.

I don't give a turd how bad your night is, mine is far worse. I have media backlash, possible casualties, a demand to let the anti-magic team pulse you into oblivion: it's a shitfight. Now clear the fuck off."
